I bought #230 at Planet Ford in Humble TX in may of 06 for about $24,600. they didn't lnow what the stampede edition was until after i bought it. Vista blue with grey leather. No mods really just window tint and some blue reverse lights. I plan to put some blue neons under the car and dash maybe some engine mods... but thats when i get money lol.
Does anybody know if there is a special club for these things???

Hi Nick, welcome to our registry! Would enjoy seeing pics of #230 posted. I have #235 (Vista Blue w/dark charcoal interior). Does your Stampede come with/without the tri bar spinners? Did you get the papers from FORD with your car like with the letter and a another one showing where to place the dash plaque and the gas cap emblem? These are documents the dealership has and often do not pass these to the buyers. I have my documentation after requesting these papers from the dealership.

WELCOME ABOARD NICK!! This is as close as we have to a "club" so far. Glad to have you! When you get a chance post a pic or two and fill out the registry form. We look forward to hearing more about #230.

What are tri bar spinners? And when i test drove my car every thing was already on it (the dash emblem and the gas cap). I'll upload some pics as soon as i get the chance at home. i mostly check my computer stuff at college since i'm always on it for class work. a few problems with my car... My window tint is getting scratched up pretty bad. is there a way i can fix this? all my friends w/ the new stangs have this problem. and i have some rattling in my driver side door panel and in my dash.

Hey Nick!
The issue with the scratching is actually a known problem with the new Mustang. There is no felt on the inside of the window to protect it - only hard plastic. Anything that gets in there like dirt and dust will scratch. Every new mustang with aftermarket tint that I have seen has had this problem. Supposedly there is a service bulletin on it but I don't think it is being advertised so if you take it to the dealer you may have to push to get them to put the felt on the windows for you. I'd look it up on google and get some solid (i.e. Printed documentation) proof before taking it in. Remember though that they are not required to replace your aftermarket tint. You may need to check with your tint shop for any warranty you have on the tint and whether this would be covered. I have a feeling it won't be.
As to the tri-bar spinners... they were originally advertised as part of the Stampede package but every Stampede we've found thus far has had the tri-bar center caps instead. Most likely the mentioning of the spinners and the "chrome tailpipes" (plural) were typographical errors.
Hopefully you have had time to look over the site some and have found the dealer info sheet (kudos to sktrstangs for finding that) that gives us our first solid piece of documentation on colors, interiors, transmissions, and options available in the package. Also check out the brochure for the California Editions (CE). It is the same package with different badging.
